Low Dux?

What ATAR would you consider low for the Dux of a school?

Our Dux last year was 98+ but our Dux this year looks to be 95-96 :S

Is that one of the lowest Dux's in the state? What's Dux in the average school?

Probably around 96-97, that is usually the dux in a typical Western suburbs government school anyway (eg The Grange, Galvin Park, Hoppers Secondary, etc.)

I've heard of a dux getting something like 65. There were only about 25 kids in year 12 though.

The lowest I've heard someone getting Dux was high 80's/low 90's. An ATAR of 65 tends to be on the extreme, I agree with Rohitpi - 96~97 is about right, I think.

Dux when I was year 7 was low 80s. I remember being all ':/ that seems a bit low and I know shit all about VCE'. And that was back when my school actually had a decent amount of enrollments.

They're around high 90s now, hooray.

Same here, I remember it being 85, then gradually increasing.
