Well to get 0.6 respect points you need to post 1 helpful post. 5/0.6 ~ 8 helpful posts? I think that's a good value for notes uploads.

ok i guess so, we'll see how it goes then when it happens :)

Was there ever a suggestion to allow you to see which of your posts received respect (not who gave it to you, just which post)?

Yeah, I've suggested that already.

It's doable-ish. Maybe soon. I'm worried people are going to lose interest in voting on posts since we sort of took away their incentive with the anonymity and lack of feedback with this system.

Can we request to see who has voted one of our posts?

Just asking, because someone has recently -1'd a lot of my posts (someone also spammed -1'd one of the chem threads), and I'd like to know who they are (I'm sure they are the same person):

Does it matter pi?, I'm 99% sure I know who it is (and so do you) but people being petty like that will rarely result in you getting neg'd thanks to the 3 like/dislike rule

showing who did it would also reintroduce the taboo of negging a post.

Maybe just add respect to what is shown in post history within a profile..

Wait as in what posts we have voted on or the scores of our posts. The former goes against anonymity the latter is good.

Any way for at least the mods to see who -1'd stuff? Or at least the admins?

So are we really going to start having karma/respect police now? :P

Letting mods/admins see it (I'm sure admins can anyway =.=) would reintroduce people being unwilling to -1 a post. If people knew that I could see if they -1'd me, I think they would think twice about doing so, and hence create an unfair buffer between mod/admin posts and normal members.

I wouldn't have a clue how to check even if I could see it.

I don't really see the point anyway. I quite like the anonymity thing. Also am mindful of the whole mod/member hierarchy debacle. I'd rather leave it as it is.
