Imo practice exams are super important especially for Bio like bazza said, so you should do a lot of them, but I personally feel like I wouldn't really retain much if I did a lot of them in the holidays.

Of the four guys who got 50 for bio last year at MHS, the average number of exams was around 17 per unit.

I think that says a lot

Of the four girls who got 50 for bio last year at Mac.Rob, the average number of exams completed for each unit varied for each person.

Just do as much as you need in the time you have. And don't completely abandon other subjects

i feel so behind.....
D:
have you guys finished the whole unit 3 course? :/
like if i asked you a random q. about homeostasis or detecting and responding you'd know it?

I'm going to finish Unit 3 in the holidays. Was pretty lazy after year 10 and did basically nothing in summer lol, but I've done AoS 1 throughout the term.

Good advice azngirl/pi :).

Calm down pi, i haven't done 50 exams yet, and i probably wont end up, better to set high goals and fall short then set low goals and achieve them or something...

Just wondering, where do you get the 50 exams from? I've searched on this forum back 20 something pages and i have only 19 exams (2006-2010).

I started printing exams already at school (so that i don't clog up the printers later on, when the rest of the Yr 12s are on a frenzy printing as well), and i myself plan to start a couple of exams during the holidays. Even if i haven't covered all of the study design yet for U3, i can also do the questions related to the stuff I have studied so far... However, i plan to leave maybe 10 exams as timed trials.

I haven't completed the whole unit 3 course yet but its the same as unit 1 and 2 so I know it already. Year 12 should be the same as year 11 with a bit more detail.
And I found a tonne of practice exams on VN. They're not all in the biology section and some of them are in the maths and chemistry sections.
