I'm not going to comment on the integrity/legitimacy of p2g, especially since my knowledge base on this is next to nothing.

I will, however, vouch for Ms Harvey as an amazing chem teacher who truly knows her stuff. She's also really friendly and approachable, and a generally nice person.

And I'd be very annoyed if people like Ms Harvey/Douchy are getting their reputations tarnished because of dodgy company practice or whatever just happened.

They had an official account, and another account pretending to be a student, but really existed to market P2G. This is a dirty tactic as it is, but the creator then went on to blame this second account on a single member within their organization, which was later revealed to be false. So that's two levels of deception.

Furthermore, their interest in purchasing notes for NEAP and TSFX lectures was a major concern. On top of that it seems that their online testimonials have been revealed to be fake.

But I feel compelled to give the correction, that just because two users have the same IP doesn't mean they are on the same computer. A network router has one single external IP (and several internal addresses for each device). To the external network, any network-attached device will have the same external IP. VN cannot tell the difference between me posting from my laptop/desktop/phone.

In this case their claim may be bogus, but in the future do keep in mind that IP-sharing is not rock solid evidence.

Did a bit more digging on the CEO of P2G.

Whilst I'm disgusted by quite a few of his activities, the CEO definitely had one of the best business models/marketing strategies I have seen in quite some time. I decided to have a look into how a kid managed to do so well, and found out some of the other activities undertaken by him.

As you can see, he's clearly been either getting a lot of money (he openly states that he's not cheap by any manner), or he's may be using further fake testimonials for his other activities, it's too difficult to determine.

Copy writers essentially create ads for others, and he seems to be doing quite well at it, and I must admit his P2G marketing campaign was somewhat admirable.

However, it seems he has been banned from a forum; http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=311939, on which all of his activity was to do with promoting this service. Unfortunately I couldn't find out the reason as to why he was banned, but there must definitely be a good reason behind it.

Either way, I do understand that some people may feel bad for this kid, as did I momentarily, but his other activities don't seem to leave much to be sympathetic for.

I have information from a friend at MacRob, that Ms Harvey is in fact making a power-point for some "lecture" so probably PTG. So my guess is you're getting a lecture if you paid.
Cause at the end of the day, not everyone going to PTG is from VN, and if it is successful then its a success, regardless of the dodgy methods they used to sucker us in, it's not like there was any better methods to do so, and promote the company.
