1.A
2.B
3.C

SA
q4
a) 36.8%
b) Percentage stays the same, because the H20 lost is proportion - mass and molar mass will decrease

can be lower or same
same if the guy doing the experiment knows that hes evaporting off the water so changes the molar mass
lower if the guy doing the experiment doesnt know so calculated amount is lower

depends on vcaa interpretation now i guess.

Yeah, did same as well. If he wrote the equation of XXX.H2O - >XXX + 6H2O, surely he'd know

You had to find the n(P) from which you can find the n(P2O5) or whatever it was :@ so simple....

I wrote about the equation. P2O5 + NH3 + MGSO4-7H2O -> [whatever the product was]
And then I balanced the equation (which was probably unnecessary) and got a 2 (the precipitate): 1 (P205). Then I found the mol of the precipitate, divided by 2 then found the percentage. It was so confusing though with all the concentrations and volumes in the question!

the percentage can be lower or same? as long as you justify your reason as long as you didnt write higher!
