Yes I know what you mean. Sorry if i offended anyone.
The only problem is that I had high expectations for methods and my methods teacher told me to get a 50(school pressure). But now, with a 39/40 in Exam 1 and a 77-79(I will say 75+ to be on the safe side), I am looking at more like 40-45 range.
oping for an ENTER of 99+

I am so pissed off. I wanted 80/80, however due to adrenalin rush and short space of time+strees, I am looking at a 77-79 mark range.

hey at least you're not looking at how much you'll get out of something like 74, instead of out of 80. to say that i'm pissed off is a huge understatement...i'm just so disappointed, coz i've worked really really hard in methods all year  :(

Tell me about it. I've been acing my SACs and got a 39 for exam 1, and now exam 2 has truly crushed my hopes. I've gone from hoping for a 45+ to now hoping I make it into the 40s.

it's ok, i wasn't offended, sorry if i sound rude coz i'm just really upset about it right now  :x
i think you just might be looking at more than that this year, coz everyone did so badly on it. i wouldn't base any estimations on last year's results, coz it was so much easier.

Actually it seems from what i have heard that this Exam 2 was quiet long. So if you get 74 or 75/80 it could be pretty good(=45+).

Good luck all FSNers. :D

Okay, weird question here. One of my let's say... 'stunt pulling' friends thought it would be a funny idea to write the 'C' word as the answer to a question in big letters... as well as doing all the concentration ones like chemistry... do you reckon they might just send the paper back or fail it?

yes, i think i liked the old 4-question format way better. well, i'm in the same situation as jasper - great sac marks and ranking, 39 in exam 1...now hoping to juuuust squeeze into the 40s coz of this exam 2 ><" and being a CAS student really doesn't help my case either.

*edit*: LOL did your friend seriously do that?? i'm not sure what would happen, but they won't be impressed

Yeah. Bit of an idiot really. Another friend wrote 'Zerg rush kekekeke' on theirs, but I think that is a bit safer than the C word.

From what I know; if a paper offends the examiner it get's a zero. They can also give zero's if there is an attempt at communicating with the examiner (eg "can you please be lenient and give me a good mark" stuff like that)

hahaha, u wrote the c word as an answer, well i reckon thats a pisser!  i dunno if they'll send it back or not, but im guessing that wasnt the right answer lol..

ah sheesh, i reckon that was a tough exam.. i aced last years one, this year screwed me up.. so did exam 1.. but ive heard from a teacher that they reckon the average for exam 1 will be 12/40.. i no most people will be like wtf.. coz most people on here are genius' but there are a SHITLOAD of people who would struggle to get any marks, and compared to last years results, i think u will be able to lose a few more marks to get 45+

MC 22.. i got E? and i got P=10 and Q=1.5  anndd.. reflection in the x-axis and translated 3 units left.. those were some hard questions, but there the answers i got :D
