lol one of the guys in my class drew a big smiley face when it came to one of the graphs...he showed it to me and i was pissing myself laughing, one of the other guys wrote an essay in Exam 1 saying that methods is his worst subject and it's not really his fault he's soo bad in it, it's the crappy teacher's fault (which is kinda true anyway) .

im kinda glad that i wasnt the only person who found the paper to be soo damn hard i didnt finish qs 5 which was around 10 marks or so, missed half of the tasmania jones bullcrap and just sucked at the whole exam in general. im just extremely glad Maths Methods over

dammit i lost 3 marks BECAUSE I DIDN'T LOOK AT MY CALCULATOR CORRECTLY! Dumbest mistake in history. This was even worse then the msitake i did in exam 1 where i thoguht x-1 was x-3 T.T

Edit:
Edit: and the finding area one, your meant to find area bounded by 2-e^(-x)-x from 0 to 1.184(something like that can
't remember) and times the result by 2. There was really no need to antidiff the log.

We're all disappointed we lost marks.

Best to just get over it, and look on the bright side.

Methods is OVER!!! Forever!!! PARTY!!!

I personally prefer no answer discussion goes on in this thread. I for one don't want to know anymore answers (but still wish to contribute my thoughts).

For the record, I'm down four marks in both exams, which our teachers suspect is going to be a ~45.

I'm not complaining. It scales to 48, which is what I want anyway.
ENTER: Incomprehensibly high

Is that 4 on exam 1 and 4 on exam 2 or 2 each?

well, i'm in the same situation as jasper - great sac marks and ranking, 39 in exam 1...now hoping to juuuust squeeze into the 40s coz of this exam 2 ><

What? Sounds like I have no hope for getting over 40 now :(
I probably only got 35 or 36 out of 40 on Exam 1, and definitely lost quite a few marks on Exam 2 :(
Estimate your ATAR (ENTER)! VCE ATAR Calculator

2005: Cisco CCNA Units 1+2
2006: Info Systems [39 → 36.93]
2007: Specialist [33 → 43.13], Methods [39 → 44.48], Physics [34 → 37.38], English [23 → 19.91], Chem [26]
ENTER: 84.95

2008-2011: Professional Software Development, Swinburne Uni.

well put fyl_000, i wouldn't estimate on last year, coz last year was ridiculous. but now i regret not doing methods last year, coz i only dropped 3 marks total doing last year's papers  :x

daniel, if you're not doing CAS, you'll be better off. i said that because apparently it's harder to get 40+ doing CAS. but i'm hoping against hope, coz of my non-exam 2 results, that i'll just get in  :(

Well, it is comparable to '05/'04 it seems.

Thus, I have a low A+ and a high A+.

SACs will scale up.

I got mid-A+'s in Accounting for a 43.

I don't know what it going to happen anymore. Don't blame me, it's all speculation. We have no data to go against (last year's doesn't work).
