I don't like to predict scores. But, if you're ranked (very) highly in your cohort, you should get very high 40s-50?

But the cut-off for an A+ was higher this year than last, so it's hard to compare years...

Is that two marks before or after doubling? You need to specify because at the moment that means nothing unless you tell us lol.

hey, yeah sorry i should have specified.

that was before doubling. ended up with 176/180 after doubling.

and dont worry about the c+ buddy, the beauty of a midyear in a subject is if you stuff it up you can always gain back some ground on exam 2. just study, know your stuff and make sure you do plenty of practice exams!

Ham,

If you do the same on the end-of-year exam and get similar SAC results, you are looking at a 48-50.

After doubling I lost 5 marks on exam one, so you are on your way to a 50. You may have to do a bit better on the next exam though. Obviously, as other people have said, the cutoffs this year have changed so it's difficult to base it on last year's results. In any case, if you replicate your efforts in exam 2, you're going to get a very good score, so congrats.

for those who did psych last year-
do you think exam 1 is generally easier or harder than exam 2?
i mean, on a whole if you did past papers ect.

In terms of getting a higher grade score, it's easier on the second exam because by that stage many people have 'given up' and therefore, anyone who is actually prepared for the second exam will be ranked comparatively higher and will get a higher letter grade for roughly the same amount of effort.

But, if you're more concerned with the number of questions you get right or wrong, the two exams are equivalent on average though it'll be different every year. You'll probably do better on topics you've engaged with more but that's not always the case.

really what for?

To try and lure you to a Government Job.

Is there a prize for last place?

I could tank for it, although there would be some tough competition

I didn't know either, but by my calculations...above 99.5. But I don't know if that calculation can be trusted.
