Oh boy...
You can probably tell how well I went

The good thing is that I went better than I did on my practice exam.
The bad thing is I worked out the maximum score I can get on that exam is like 35%... I left heaps of it blank and left like 20 minutes early. I was flicking through it and adding up the marks, and one of the supervisors was looking at me like I was crazy. :P

It's not all bad... Some people went even worse than I did and left one and a half hours early

Oh, and, if we put stupid answers, do we get marks taken off? For some question asking about which element was a better reductant or something (can't remember exactly what), I put "It's a totally awesome element and stuff" as the explanation

if i did not take into account the energy needed to heat up the aluminium, will i lose all the marks or will i still get consequential marks?

Can't tell at this early stage. More input = better results.

Don't base it on me/spirited/care.mel/anyone else that said it was extremely easy because it was tricky.

Last multi-choice = wha?
H+/H2 gas pH = guh?
Otherwise, no emission spectra. No "learn chem guys". = Kingmar does very nicely for himself and can afford to lose marks in BM.
Increment, there you go!!!

spirited got a different multichoice answer from mine - Question 8, I put D, she put B. Anyone got a clue what it is?
ENTER: Incomprehensibly high

I liked this exam, to a certain etxtent. Seemed to have heaps of unusual questions... stuff that required more than just systematic thinking

Bahahaha
I would have done C for everything :P

Reminds me of the GAT...
Some kids were going through past GAT papers, looking for patterns in the multiple choice answers. They used several patterns (eg. all Cs, ACDCACDC..., ABCDABCD..., etc.) and worked out which pattern gave the best average mark on the past papers (I think it was something like ACDCACDCACDC... averaged about 45% or something :P), and used that pattern on the GAT
