the KLD thing is only even half useful if you plan on going to their uni. at my school, i think what they did was ask the all-round top 5 students in our yr to apply - two of the others and i ended up going ahead with it. but i reckon it's pretty pointless..i agree, it's only an excuse for ads

Hey. I was just wondering, has anyone got their results back?

On the Umelb website it says 'Mid-November' yet it is the 21st today and nothing has yet to arrive in the mail.

I was nominated for it at my school. I called up the head of the program on the 21st and asked when we'll find out because they said mid november. she said the applications are being processed and we'll find out in 2 weeks approx.

I'm not sure if it will be different this year, considering last year (well this year but you know what I mean) we didn't apply until during the year, but I know for us they saw our reports and our careers teacher also gave them our study scores for any 3/4's we'd already done. Obviously if they are selecting this early they may not know your study scores, but they will at least see reports

Yeh, thanks for the replies.
At least now I know why I have been waiting 2 weeks and haven't got the results back.

Maybe in a few years time Melb Uni will get their act together and make this program have better advantages for the people involved
