95% sure it's E as although the trend doesn't appear to simply be secular, it does not fit the definition of seasonal. This question is still under debate, as some people have written C, the majority wrote E though so I'm quite sure you'll find the answer is E.

Additionally the definition of a secular trend seems to be pretty leaniant, i.e. I saw a graph that was even more variable than that one on a practise exam and the answer was secular and they even had cyclic as an option

for CORE question 11 I'm pretty sure it's E  because it's increasing at irregular intervals which means it's not seasonal variation

E. The fluctuations do not occur at REGULAR INTERVALS, therefore there is no seasonality.

Hey i got 35/40 and 93/100 for sacs (not exact sure of ranking but top 10 out of 4 class cohort) if i get a low A+ for second exam would i be looking at a 42? Because i really want a 40 after scaling. DO people think A+ will be 35/40?

I actually do think it is E and thats what I originally put. Look at the company. "online help service"

Why would online help change with the seasons?

For it to be seasonal, wouldn't there need to be ANOTHER year(at least) with which to compare to?? For example, a peak can only be seasonal if it continues to occur in the same part of the season from year to year.

Theres probably a better explanation. :/

they are at regular intervals! exclude the peak at 11 months as that isnt the end of the season... it could get higher... it isnt perfectly seasonal as there is a random trough but how can you say there is no seasonal trend!

Probably not unfortunately, but still its not impossible. For a 42, I would be thinking a mid A+ atleast for exam 2 as your 35/40 is probably a low one.

What are people's thoughts on Q4 in graphs and relations? Too tricky for that early in the module, seeing you have to deal with 4 combinations. Will stump most of the state. Only one i got wrong for the paper according to my teacher's answers.

i can try... it's a right angled triangle... the angle within it is inverse of tan 2... then as the angle from the camp to the lookout tower is 45 degress... the angle on the other side at the lookout triangle (sorry horrible explanation without diagram) is 135 degrees (45 and 135 equal 180 along straight line).... then the answer is simply 360- (inverse tan of 2 + 135)
