I just calculated that he makes approximately $250K a year :D

Not bad for a teacher who works 4 days a week :D

jacks still pwning him (money wise), not saying his better :P

What, how much does he get (around)?
I haven't heard much about him...

~2k per lecture, and has 3-4 lectures a day :P

It's nowhere near 2k per lecture... more like 1k per lecture max.
He has about 40 students average per lecture and each lecture costs $20.
These guys still make me feel sorry for normal teachers as they have to work every weekday, put up with us annoying high schools kids and still only have salaries of about $60K !

ahh he gets way more than 40 ppl :/

lol yea not exactly 2k but close to it. he was getting 60 ppl or so last year and now 70-80 rock  up. its $20 for a 2 hour sesh so not that expensive.
That's really cheap lol but how does he get a classroom so big it can hold 80 people???

ive heard of people not being able to get in coz classes were too full this year.

He moves pretty fast with topics - like a chapter a lesson...

Yeah, but he ends up doing it more thoroughly than my school teachers :P

Lol, okay...
Maybe it's because I am unmotivated in terms of VCE maths - hopefully this will get better once better topics (ie. TRIG) come into play.
I need to spend more time on olympiad now, seriously... too much VCE bio. Lol I haven't even done homework in school for maths for about 4 years now. :(

Your VCE is really well planned out, I wish I could've done something like that but my school only lets me do one 3/4 subject in year 11...gay

But he only talks for like 1.5 hours whereas we take 2-3 weeks per topic. I don't get the logic of that... I still have to flip through textbooks if there's something new I don't fully understand.

It's because at school you also need to do the textbook questions. Textbook theory, especially for Maths, can be gotten through relatively quickly, it's the questions that suck up most of your time. And all Dr. He provides for questions is maybe 2 homework papers per chapter which excluding the challenge question can be done in less than an hour for each paper.

Pity, he improved my maths SOOOOO much :)

I have no idea how much he has improved my maths. All I know is that my score and ranking for his homework have gone up every week so far.

I was the exact same as you. I never did any work for Maths from Y7-Y10 and I often slept in class. But then the massive jump from Y10 Maths to 3/4 Methods motivated me. It was so strange having to actually learn maths concepts and do the textbook for the first time.
