Several schools have already done it. I know Emmaeus College did last year, for one.

Welcome to theatre ;)...where no-one goes on Wednesday.

I will do the typical amateur thespian thing and rock up, hoping there are tickets at the door. You better impress, just because I have *very* high standards :P

Haha its opening night though exaclibur!!! We have to have a sell out lol.

For your benefit I'll just confirm that tickets will be sold at the door (it seem's obvious but I'll just check)

Haha. I don't know how impressive it will be but some of the songs we hav got down really well. ie the singing/dancing is all working really well.

heres the email the director sent me in late may. (L)

Thanks Costa
Appreciate the heads up, I had checked that out in the diary and while I've
got your attention I'd just like to tell you how happy I am with all the
work you have put in and what you are doing on stage - you are fantastic and
are one of the few who has not let me down - it is much appreciated - and
you should consider doing some amateur theatre after you leave school as
your voice is very good - let me know if you are interested

What you reckon? Maybe do some amateur theatre after year 12? ;)

Why not?

You'll find that you'll frequently get a show as a guy...there is a general male shortage in the amateur theatre community. Another thing you find is a lot of them are of the non-hetero persuasion.

I got no problem working with people of the 'non-hetro persuasion'. As long as they don't make a move on me lol
