Anything I should know? Did people pass theirs the first time around? I sit it this arvo. My driving instructor said it was the most stupidiest test on the planet, and if I pass by 1% to be happy.

I got 60 something %. It's all guesswork, you just gotta know when to click, cause if you see the hazard early, and click, you get it wrong for some stupid reason. I killed two people in my test too!!

Your driving instructor usually gives you the answers. How come you guys didn't get the test as soon as you were 18! I got my licence the day after I was able to, I was that pumped

@ least he passed I spose. I'm glad to know the pass mark is low, considering how poorly done every1 says it is.

woohoo.. i had mine this morning. passed yay!
don't stress to much about it. The demo ones on the vicroads website are a great indication as to what to expect.

if you get a question showing you are following a tram.. watch its brake lights.. i nearly missed them haha.

now just the actual driving part in late march for me eek

I got my licence on Wednesday and I did my hazards last Thursday. I think I got 60-something on the hazard test and ended up only losing 3 marks on my driving test, so if you do badly, know that there is little correlation between a good hazard test result and a good driving test result. I really don't know anyone who got in the 70s or higher for their hazards. Anyway, my advice is to try not to over analyse the scenarios (because that's what I did). Oh, and if you see children coming out at you, slow down.

I passed, even tho I killed the motorcyclist, LOL.

That test was so stupid... and not indicative of wot you'd do in real life. I got a crappy screen too, and I didn't realise that wot I was looking @ were potholes until it was 2 late. I didn't catch your message b4 I left Eriny, but I saw the skool kids and such. Sabrina, I did get the tram question and when I saw it I was thinking 'Thank-you Sabrina' ^_^ I've been 18 4 ages, but my local branch is booked out until @ least March 18th anywayz.

I'm happy I passed! :D

Heh...I got something like 87% or something. I'm told that the test is done in a way that the mean is around 75%...lol

I think, as a rule, most people pass hazards easily. It's that bloody drive test and all the instant fails that you gotta look out for. A friend of mine failed her drive test - even though she had the perfect drive. She just mounted the kerb turning into VicRoads...

My friend failed as soon as she got in2 the car, coz her headphones were hanging out her shirt. They weren't even plugged into anything.

Congrats Fyrefly! Lucky about the tram question lol

wow regarding your friend failing due to the headphones. That's so harsh.

Question about the actual test: Do they test all the parking (and point to point reversing) techniques or do they randomly kinda pick as they go and test only 1 or 2?

iirc, they test one park and one low speed manoeuver.
