Perhaps unrelated, but last year everyone in UMEP Physics got 5.5, so I would imagine it wouldn't be too hard in UMEP Maths.

It wouldn't be easy, seeing as Mark_alec got 46 in spec, but 5.0 in UMEP

I wouldnt waste 1. 2 subjects take 10% anyway, so just focus on 3 subjects really well this year, have UMEP maths and VCD as the 10%ers / 5.5er.

Also, with UMEP, if you happened to decide just to try and pass [and get 4.5] it might have still been interesting/worthwhile
It's only 4.0 if you pass. But it's really not that hard at all to get 5.0 (60-79).
how hard would you say it is to pass. So just doing the minimum work and going to classes would probably give you a pass?

When I went to the Monash Enhancement Info evening one of the speakers said that last year only 1 person failed any MUEP Subject and that was because they were too late in withdrawing from the program.

So what I gather is that it is easy to pass but to get 5.5 is hard depending on what subject you are doing.

5.5 for MUEP isn't that hard. UMEP is another story.

I don't see a big difference between 5.5 and 5.0 or even 4.0 unless you're at the high end of the aggregate table.
