I sincerely apologise for all I've said before about my health, Jessie0. I'm glad you have forgiven me. :)

Why are you posting this in here then?

Long story...

Back on topic: Why do people think it's perfectly fine to talk over you when you're talking, but when they're talking, they demand your attention? ???

An intellectual question for you all:

How the hell do you apply eye liner neatly (on top lid) without it going everywhere? :(

here's the way i first learnt to do it

you know when you put eyeliner along the bottom waterline of your eye? well, you can put it on the waterline of the top lid too (it looks better anyway imo)

but if this is too hard, the easiest way to do it is close your eyes and put your eyeliner on your bottom waterline lie usual, the only difference being your eye is closed. it'll take practice, but it puts it along the top waterline too ;)

not sure if these will work for you, but try them both ;)

Or 7 days a week, 12 months in a year, 365 days in a year, 60 seconds in a minute... Come on Coblin, you're meant to be a maths genius. :D

mmm this has just popped up in my head.... i dont understand why there has long been a rivalry and arguments between the greek orthodox and armenian priests in jerusalem? and why does the holy flame only light up when the Greek patriarch enters the Curch of the Holy Sepulchre every year since ages ago? if someone can answer those two questions they are brilliant.

Obviously directed at me, it's because it annoys me to see:

Recent Comments:
SPAMMY SPAM HAM by ________ (Other General Discussion)

SPAMMY SPAM HAM by ________ (Other General Discussion)

Thus, missing out on the more 'important stuff' in the recent comments box. It's a lot easy to catch something of my interest through the recent comments box rather than keeping 5 subforums in tabs and refreshing all of them every few minutes. Sorry to sound like a bigot. That's why I've wished for a feature to block out sub-forums in the recent comments box by user preference for Christmas.

I might not have the right to say this as not 1056 of my posts have been completely helpful but I think there's been an influx of spammy crap recently.

Does that clear up your things you've never understood? :)

it's easier to click show unread posts and skim through to find the threads that interest you, and ignore the others. especially since these forums don't move that fast.

i would consider the constant complaining about 'spam' to be spam itself. the ironing is delicious.

Like Coblin mentioned the best way would be to get someone to do it for you.... or like I do it, which is with the liquid eyeliner (so much easier to use than the pencil), and gently trace over the top of your eyelid :P I guess you need to have a steady hand too, which you can struggle with at times.

I've always worn my eyeliner like this... 'under' the top lashes, rather than 'over' them.
I think it looks more everyday and natural ...I agree that it looks better.
It's also much harder 2 accidentally smudge/ruin during the day - less chance of a makeup malfunction that looks like a black eye.

I don't think it would be wise to lick your iron.
It can't taste that good :P

Ah... wise girl then.

Hmm... I prefer pencil eyeliner... I've never had any luck with the liquid ones...
