It's all part of the coverage of the attacks. Sure, it may be difficult to stomach, but war is a sick and gruesome thing. And, invariably, it is the children who end up suffering as a direct result. It makes me sad when the strikes hit children and not the intended Hamas members. But at least the raids also managed to blow up a fair portion of the Hamas weapon caches. It is no surprise that it is, in fact, Palestine's president and other powers in the Middle East who are asking Hamas to renew the truce with Israel forged by Egypt. Until that happens, Israel will keep forcing Hamas' hand with these strikes.

Bleh, this is just one sorry state of affairs.
