Gundam 00 is Over9000 times better, but then again, 9000 times zero is still zero.

Agreed in regards to plot, but the reason I liked Gundam 00 was because of its highly political nature.  It wasn't so much a straightforward narrative as a commentary on wars and governments across the world, with prettiful battles thrown in the middle.  Plus having "oldtype" characters like Graham and Sergei kicking ass was also a plus.

Then it became all lulsy in season 2 with the whole Innovators thing, so by that point I stopped taking it seriously and just watched for pretty explosions.  

Lelouch is a suky ass pilot, but he can just geass awesome pilots, wheres his weakness lol. Hes an awesome battle director tho

His weakness is that he's a sucky ass pilot.  One on one against anybody, he's screwed.

It's crap.  Go watch Wing, unless you can't stand slightly outdated animation.  Alternatively, 08th MS Team is well liked action-wise.

I agree, gundam wing was definitely a good series, but for me those graphics are too old

lol.  Try watching the original Gundam series, or even better, 1970s Super Robot Anime...

My favourite Anime (Macross) was from the 1980s, so I'm pretty much desensitised to bad animation.  

Has anyone else seen Queen's Blade =o

Yep, although I followed screencaps more often than actually watching the episodes...  The lack of Nix made me rage.

Yeh that innvoators thing was pretty weird, I wouldve preferred to expand on characters like ali al saachez and trans graham. The innovators lacked any substance about them

Lol, I still dont understand how he became a innovator or pure innovator or whatever, to this day, that was just weird. But besides all the innovator stuff it was quite enjoyable.
And truetears sort of has a point, if ur gonna watch a mecha series in which you mainly watch for the coolness of the mechas, you cant really stand watching paint figures making explosions, coz the story wont be able to make up for lacking animation.

Depends on your personal taste, plus the series in question.  Macross, for instance, is far more plot-based than action based.  The same can roughly be said for most older Gundam series.  Not to mention a lot of older Anime actally have better action sequences...just the art itself isn't quite as clean.
