Just recently finished watching and reading Anohana and Tokyo Magnitude 8.0.

Thought Anohana was an absolute masterpiece, I finished watching it like two days ago and I just can't get over it. I get 'those feels' lol. Those weird, empty feels where you just miss watching those characters because you feel so attached to them, and also you can never get over the ending.

Anyway this has been my new hobby over the holiday. Before the holiday began I had never ever read a single chapter of manga or watched anime!!! Bit nerdy but really loving this new hobby!

Also can someone please reccomend me any manga or anime similar to ANohana? I watched Tokyo 8.0 after it and it was no where near the standard of anohana, and they were released the same year

Yeah, god, Anohana gets you right in the feels for sure.

From the top of my head I would think Clannad (and Clannad: After Story). Similar cute plotline with sad twists here and there... and that undeniable god-forsaken mother-f***ing ending.

Also though I haven't seen it I've heard Angel Beats is similar/really good.

IDK if you'd still be into all this shojo after these but what the heck, they're good.

Haha Attack On Titan! Did you want to discuss anything about it? :p. I'm up to date with the manga and have watched all anime.

Yeh I know whenever I see a picture of her I get those feels hahaha! What was so good about anohana was that right from episode 1, they build up all this hype and emotion, and then in the last episode it calls comes together in a really heart-warming, touching way, if you get what I mean xD.

Yeh thanks for the recommendation, I heard angel beats is really similar on how they build up to the last episode and then absolutely get you right at the end.

I'm currently watching and reading mirrai Nikki because a friend recommended it after I watched anohana. But it's nothing like it, kind of like the hunger games lol but more interesting, gory and wicked. I'm kinda hooked into it.

PARASYTE IS AMAZING!!! Can't believe it's taken almost 15 years for it to be adapted to an anime (manga finished in 1995 like waaaat)!
Haven't watched Tokyo Ghoul yet but heard some amazing reviews about it, I'll give it a try when my bytes come back lol.

Yeah I haven't read the manga so the anime is even more exciting for me!! xD. It is indeed amazing!!

Tokyo Ghoul is so similar to parasyte, but I like parasyte better. Definitely watch TG!

Watching Assasination classroom lately, strange  but very good.

Also watching "Satan is a part timer" and that's really hilarious too. What i also like about it is how well the scenes are drawn. I've been to Kyoto and the other areas it's set in and i recognise a lot of the scenes they drew, they're dead on accurate, which just amazes me.
