UMAT study tips, how do we go about it?

enlighten us  wats the most proficient way to study for it as time is our enemy.

I asked an '09er who goes to my school and got 97% on the UMAT.
He said to definitely do a MedEntry course.
I also spoke to an '07er who goes to Scotch and got either 99 or 100% (can't remember).
He suggested doing plenty of online logic puzzles.
Both said to start in the summer holidays before.

I'm still a year and a half away though...

=/ meh I'm just going to get some practice exams and develop an exam technique for it.

Seeing as though it's logic, reading comprehension, and empathy being tested, there isn't any material you can study for, there are only skills you can practice and perfect.

I think the practice exams are usually much easier than the actual exam, so I was told not to become complacent in doing well in these. Hope this helps!

im doing the medentry thing now. they give you alot of practice stuff  and like 10 exams.. but the bad thing is you cant print the content . so you have to stay on the computer all the time. it gets really tiring.

i think sections 2 (ethics) and 3 (visual puzzles) are fairly easy to pick up. but section 1 (logical reasoning and problem solving) is pretty difficult .

my friend also recommended me to look up the LSAT test because it has similar questions.

theres alot of ppl who do the medentry course years before there actual test. but i think its pretty expensive.
its only worth the money if you can spend alot of time on it.
im struggling to do medentry cause im concentrating on my other stuff.

SUMMER HOLIDAYS!!!?? I signed up for the MedEntry program in March. What should i do to prepare until then.
PS if any1 has any old UMAT exam paper i would be glad to take them off your hands

wood u say the medentry course is worth it....and wat is lsat?

^ i'm doing the medentry course and yes definitely all the practice drills they give you (including 10 prac exams) is very helpful, if i did them all it will definitely improve my score. i won't be doing many until i actually do the course though as they walk through each of the sections and also give interview tips.
so i reckon it's a good investment to increase your chances of getting a good UMAT.
