I think i have asked this question before, but i'm still unsure...

if i have 7 VCE subjects + MUEP, and assuming the MUEP increment > 6th subject increment...
Will MUEP count? the monash enhancement lady at the information night told me VTAC would count VCE studies in favour of MUEP regardless of score... i've tried on the ENTER calculator, and it didnt count :(

thx :D

I think so =) if your MUEP increment is greater than your 6th subject increment than it should count, but i'm not sure ^_^

it definitely counts. i did seven subjects including UMEP maths, and it counted - the one that didn't count was music. and i can't imagine there'd be any difference between UMEP and MUEP subjects.

In conclusion: Don't do Hebrew if you're shit at it. Big mistake.

Disagree. Do Hebrew. Work your ass off if you need to and pull off that 35 raw. Then walk away happily with your 50. The state SUX at Hebrew.

dont do it unless you're israeli or close (russian). if you're middling, do a rote subject instead of a lote. you need 40 for a 50 btw. that 35 goes to 46.

I got 99.75 with plenty of hard work and effort. Made time to watch a movie every Friday night though :P

I was disappointed overall with English. As you can see, I got 43 in English. I think I could have pulled up my ENTER further had I done well in English. Do not neglect English because you will regret it. I didn't neglect it, but was not really that good with it to begin with. In addition, I really disliked it. Form a liking for it, or force yourself to like it, because then you'll do the work and you can pull up your ENTER...
Raw Scores:
Psychology 50 | Mathematical Methods 49 | Further Mathematics 49 | Accounting 49 | Chemistry 44 | English 43
ATAR: 99.75

Meh, I got 99.00 with 36 in English. I don't care because it got me my first preference, and I can still communicate effectively, and write a stunning essay -- it's not my problem that I didn't give a shit about fiction or literature.

I wish I were like that - not caring what I get, so long as I make it into my preference.

A lot of people expected me to get higher, but English was not as great as my other scores. Nor was Chem, but hey, it wasn't going to be in my top 4 subjects anyway.

And neither do I, I don't give a shit for writing essays.
Raw Scores:

ATAR: 99.75

Give it a month or so and you'll probably not give a crap either. Same happened for me. Was pretty annoyed with English but meh, once you know you're in the course you want, you really stop caring once the hype of VCE dies down.
