You can probably try to see if you can get more preferable times when first year subjects open again with the remaining 10%.

Hi,
When I view some of my subjects in the study plan, it does not say "Enrolled" but rather "Planned" and there is no option to "Enrol" so I cannot view class times for these. Does anyone have any idea when they could become available?

Thanks  :) (First year btw)

Is this for first year subjects? Some subjects require prerequisites to be completed first?

In addition to what the other posters have said about the final 10% of places, I’d also recommend checking the timetable page every day or so if you’re unhappy with your timetable. People tend to change out of certain time slots, and coordinators add more tutorials/practicals if needed. For example, last year for ARA I could only get a tute at 6pm or something, but a few days later a spot in a 9am class opened up, which would have made my life a lot easier :)

Does anyone know the best way to get the timetable on our phones’ calendar apps or get it on our student emails’ calendars? I can’t really find an export option on the timetable site.

Also, on an unrelated topic, does unimelb have a discord server? Thanks!

That's odd. Someone else might have a solution but I'd recommend having a look at those subjects in the handbook. Just make sure it's offered this year, that you've satisfied prerequisites, and it runs in semester 1 (although the option to enrol should be there even if you haven't satisfied prerequisites, it would just say you haven't satisfied prereqs after you try to enrol).

Don't mind if I jump in with a quick question: do Corporate Law (BLAW20001) lectures record both audio and video on Lecture-Capture (a 2014 subject review stated audio-only...)? Thanks

I believe that all lectures are now recorded with audio and video.

I usually just did it manually. Doesn’t take much longer than half an hour (frustrating I know)

I just found out there's a google chrome extension that literally exports your timetable from the page to a calendar file, which is exactly what I was looking for. The extension is called Unimelb Timetable to iCal, hope that helps someone else out!

does this automatically change it in the google calendar if it changes on the melboourne uni side?

Unfortunately, it only sticks to whatever you exported, from what I’ve seen. I could be wrong though

Hey guys, is there any way to know if a class won’t have enough students to run, and if so, when they’d cancel it by? Due to a change by the coordinators, I’ve completely rearranged my timetable, but I’m not sure if one class I want to change to will have enough people to run (finishes Friday 7:15pm, and there are many open classes), and if I change I’m pretty sure the 10am one I swapped it for will go... thanks

The best thing you could do is email the coordinator. They will have either already made the decision or will have a rough idea.
