What are you going to transfer into?  Because your much thought happens to have ended just after the census date which means you paid for all of your subjects and if you're moving to something else at UoM then I suggest keeping your subjects (or even if you aren't) so you can cross-credit them as breadth or otherwise and cut down on your total course time.  Or you can just not transfer any credits if that's what you prefer.

If we've already paid for the SSAF during summer semester do we have to pay for it again?? I assume it's a one off payment, just want to double check.

Also, does it normally take a while for the people at 13Melb to reply to your emails? I emailed them last Thursday so it's been over 7 days incl. Easter break... Anyone know the email address for the Commerce student centre for general enquiries?

Cheers :)

Go to portal, look up university fees, see what is mandatory that you still need to pay.

Okay, I didn't realise that I needed to pay for subject fees by the 31st of March. :(

On the fees page of my student portal, my subjects for this semester are in red. These are under 'optional fees' though so assume that I've now incurred a HECS debt? In the past I've just paid for the subjects with my own money so I have no idea what to do in this situation.

Am I correct in my thinking?

The university was closed for a long time, from Good Friday to Tuesday 2 April.  Yeah, they got an extra day.  So business has only been usual starting this Wednesday.

I actually liked the old portal...

I agree, I liked how it was easy to view everything on one page, no/little scrolling etc. and that there was lots of free space etc. (Sometimes using the new portal my mind feels more cluttery, but maybe that's just me).

It just seems a bit packed now, but it looks a lot better, and there seems to be fewer errors that used to pop up a lot.

I'll probably get to like this more as I use it though.

Yeah exactly - it wasn't pretty but it was nicely laid out and it definitely works a lot quicker. I just reckon they should spend more time fixing UniWireless haha
