You know how there's a border to the very edge of the screen? Try scrolling there. Like, not dragging up the main center of the screen, but right to the side (the left side works for sure, I got it to work last night :P)

I just tried this, yes this works. Thank you.

If you're on a mobile platform, use admin online unimelb. This allows you to use everything as normal instead of the shitty portal.

Is it possible to request to see an exam purely for the sake of seeing what you did wrong? Because I'm doing a subject heavily related to it next semester and want to make sure I wont make those mistakes again.

Hi guys

What are some good 1st year breadth subjects to choose in a B.Com degree? I'd prefer to stay away from math/sciences if possible.

The handbook states that you must complete at least 4 breadth subjects throughout the duration of your degree. What happens if you complete more than required? Would anyone actually do that?

Thanks,

The noob

"At least" 4 breadth subjects; but you can complete UP TO 6 breadth subjects. 4 is the minimum.

If you're doing a bcom its actually a maximum of 8 breadths

Edit: I have a question about fail grades (not for me). If you were asked to calculate a WAM, do you count the score you received e.g. 30, or do you count it as a 0?

Depends on what your interests are outside of commerce. You can practically find subjects to suit any of your interests.

PBL is a good one to do- I did it this semester and the workload was manageable because of the fact that there were no assignments

what's PBL?

It is the worst excuse for a law subject to be honest. ;)

PBL is pretty good, I wrote a brief review about it on the subject review thread. In my opinion don't do it purely because you think it will be easy to score extremely highly in. Just be aware that MC Q can be both very easy and very difficult.

Oh yea, I know some people who did it. I used up all my first year breadths, unfortunately, so I can't do it :(

Oh god, good you pointed that out! I got the same email, checked the timetable and didn't "see" any changes. Thanks!
