Do any of you amazing, benevolent and extremely helpful second-year science students recall the amount of detail you were expected to know about nucleophilic addition of amines for Chemistry 2? I can't find it in my lecture notes, and the textbook is really in-depth whilst the online notes provide a fleetingly brief overview

I may have some of the Chem for Biomed notes if you want them? Pretty sure they did put some stuff about nucleophilic addition of amines... That said, I could be pretty wrong, was lucky to pass that subject!

Wow I can't remember 95% of what I learnt in Chemistry for Biomed last semester. Legit. This makes me feel very inadequate.

I have a feeling that I might want to do Immuno or Micro/Immuno as a major. Probably Micro/Immuno though.

hahah, I just remember that being a thing...I don't think I ever understood what the hell it was. Chem was overwhelmingly a disaster.

Apparently they asked how many people would take Parasitology as a subject and 35/40 people said yes.
What is wrong with people?

Ew.  You might be able to take it but you would need Micro/Immuno second year as far as I know, as a prereq.

I won't be able to do it, but it still sounds cool. I think we do some parasite stuff in second year and third year zoology (there's a prac and lecture section on parasitic worms in Animal Structure and Function, for example D:) anyway.
