Lets be clear here. Whoever actually studies productively during their gaps is a unicorn.

That is, they don't exist.

That being said, if you're confident with the level of reasoning and knowledge required in your first year, having the next two years GAMSAT-free is a big win

Yeah, you can sit GAMSAT UK in first year if you want. Many don't because they think it's a bit early but it definitely doesn't hurt.

Look at me if you'd like to see a unicorn then. ._.

Funny you mention that: I had a friend do this and despite not having learnt all the necessary science content yet, he got a score that is competitive enough for post-graduate medicine. O_o

Yeah, totally possible because most of the science questions in the GAMSAT can be answered by just figuring out how everything works from the information they give you. From what I remember there wasn't much stuff from Chem in Biomed there. As long as you knew the basics of organic chem you were set. Physics...fuck physics though. Most people just don't feel comfortable enough to sit it that early though.

And what even. Stop studying in your breaks, you're making 99% of us feel bad

Lol I only wish I could chill out more, but I have this obsessive/compulsive thing that gets to me every time. XD My goal this year (as it was last year) is to be more balanced, but I'm not really liking my chances haha.

I'm in the same boat and I'm so peeved. I'm debating on either leaving it and seeing if anything happens or just change it, not attend and watching the lectures at home.

Make sure you switch on authentication. That's the thing that gets me each time

Use Other not Google when choosing the account type. Make sure IMAP is enabled on your student email. Also make sure you enter your student email address and not just the username.

Incoming as imap.gmail.com and outgoing as smtp.gmail.com should be all you need to enter.

Yeah i figured out I was just using the username and not the whole email address thats why it wasnt authenticating. Thanks
