I disapprove in theory, in practice I don't think it will make much of a difference.
The old system was 99.9 + 75% average + pass interview = CSP and 99.0 + 75% average + pass interview = FFP
The new system is a bit more complicated, basically they created a new version of each course called "Chancellors Scholars" and if you get into that you get graduate entry guaranteed (no average etc.). If you want to apply for the MD, you WILL need to pass an interview, but it's held in December before you start rather than after 3 years. These degrees are all subject to supply/demand, so there's no set ATAR.
Just a quick question, how much more are the fees for a full fee med course compared to the CSP version? Considering I pay both upfront.
Thanks in advanced.
Full Fee will be ~50k a year for 200k total cost for the 4 year MD. FEE-HELP will loan you up to ~100k of that, so you'll need to borrow the rest at market prices.
CSP is ~8k a year, for a total cost of 32k. If you paid upfront, it'd be 20% off or ~26k
