We  need Brenden's PEP talk right now. Is anyone else feeling rather slack and unaccomplished? I hope it's not only me.

What's the difference between this thread and the class of 2013 thread?

Patient, young ones. There is a time for pep, and now is not the time. (Honestly, just relax a bit I reckon. I was well and truly burnt out by this stage, I had to have a week off). In fact, I didn't go to any parties in Year 12 EXCEPT for September, in which I went to five because I knew I needed a break. (And I hate parties, so that's saying something). Take a break now and don't feel guilty, because taking a break later isn't an option. Give yourself permission to slack off, you'll avoid the guilt/stress and you know you'll be at 100% when it's time to go HAM

But what if you feel like you've taken way to many breaks over the past couple of months?
I seem to have lost my mojo :(

Put it this way:
If you've lost your mojo, you are going to have the time off anyway. You'll think "fuck! I'm not working! I should be working! *guilt+stress*"
You can do that, or you can say "I give myself permission to not work, I do not give myself permission to feel guilty: I am regaining my mojo"

Think of it like an investment. You'll make up for it. (Make sure you do, or the whole plan goes to shit)

I should note. For people who won't be like I described in the first scenario - if you think you can't work from now til exams and not lose your mojo - dont follow my plan, follow your plan.

Glad to know I'm not the only one feeling rather burnt out... I was planning on giving myself this last week off and the first few days of the holidays so I could get motivated again (and I know I will) - except, my school decided to place our mock exams this week. -_- I am way too fried to study for them, but I'm not looking forward to leaving questions blank :(

I'm sure soon enough we'll all be motivated again and working hard. I was reading about a girl our age in NSW who got offered a scholarship already for Arts/Law because she was owning and I found that motivating, so perhaps read up on some VCE winners? I dunno hahaah

Sure!

Well, it wasn't really an article, it was actually a person on Tumblr who posted about their sister HAHA but nonetheless:

Edit: !! I see that you want to do Arts/Law @ Monash - me too! :) Out of curiosity, what subjects were you thinking of taking under the Arts if you don't mind me asking?

Wow. That's really awesome. I wish I can get a scholarship too.
As for the second part of the question, I'm not sure yet what Arts subjects I want to do. I'm thinking of doing French but that's all I've decided for now? How about you?
