im thinking about changing subjects only because of the demands of PSYC10003_U_1~SM1   -  Mind, Brain & Behaviour 1

which demands Contact Hours: 36 one hour lectures (three times a week), and 24 hours (12 x 2 hours) of practical classes and tutorials. 3 hours of research participation (hurdle requirement).

and the timing of the lectures are terrible.  what do i do?

Nah I'm doing Finance 1 but I'm going to lectopia them  :P :P
Ohh i see :P You should go to the tutes tho, even though attendance isn't marked.

Also, can't you choose a different time for that Linear prac? It's best to stay in the same stream for lectures.

they will tell you in the first lecture, or check the subject guide when they upload it on the lms.

What do you mean? Do you mean putting P01 before P02? Because one of them is a computer lab class

I'm pretty cheesed off that I can't get a day off this semester. I managed it for the last two, but now that my Russian cohort is so small, there's only one stream, and it runs on Tues/Thurs which are the normal days off for science students.

When I did linear you have the lab class right after your tutorial. You can't choose separate times. So it's a 2 hours block - tutorial then lab/prac.

quick question

can you have back to back lectures / tutes that are in different buildings ? or is there no point as you will never make it?

@above, apparently a class running from 10am-11am starts at 10:05am and ends at 10:55am so you should be fine.

Any thoughts on this timetable?:
^ Thanks for your advice, really appreciate it.

How does this timetable look?  I know Monday and Wednesday are pretty full-on but most of the subjects on those days are ones I can't take at other times as they're only offered on those days.

Monday
SPAN 10007 T01/1 - 10:30am - 12:00pm (John Medley 532)
MECM 10003 L01/1 - 1:00pm - 2:00pm (The Spot building)
BIOL 10004 L01/3 - 3:15pm - 4:15pm (Arts West-Copland)

Tuesday
BIOL 10004 W01/5 - 9:00am - 12:00pm (Redmond Barry - 210)
POLS 10001 T01/3 - 3:15pm - 4:15pm (Redmond Barry - 1007)

Wednesday
BIOL 10004 L02/1 - 9:00am - 10:00am (Arts West-Copland)
MECM 10003 L02/1 - 10:00am - 11:00am (ERC - Charles Pearson)
SPAN 10007 T02/5 - 2:00pm - 3:30pm (Babel-217)

Thursday
MECM 10003 T01/6 - 9:00am - 10:00am (757 Swanston St - 409)
POLS 10001 L01/1 - 12:00pm - 2:00pm (ERC - Charles Pearson)

Friday
BIOL 10004 L03/1 - 9:00am - 10:00am (Arts West-Copland)

Thoughts?  I only have back-to-back classes on Wednesday morning; is travelling between West-Copland and ERC - Charles Pearson alright?  Any suggestions?

Cheers.

When you choose to register it'll only have 2 hour time slots, you can't choose separate ones.

And that trip won't take long, <4 mins.

Do you think having 3 lectures in a row is excessive?

So in my mock timetable, I should leave a 2 hour gap after P01 and thats where P02 will go?
