I got my chemistry exam back and I got a C (I fucking failed, I got 45% lol) while my physics was a high A+ (96%), both were the VCAA 2013 sample ones.

You should reflect on your scores and try to see how you're going to improve them/keep them at their current high standard.
It's totally fine to be feeling like you're struggling to improve at the moment.

A way I like to think about it is that we're slowly reaching our peak, an asymptote that we will never reach but continually approach.
But although we will never reach that asymptote, there is always a space in between for you to get closer and closer and closer to that peak.

My performance doesn't peak. Think of a sine wave. That's my performance. All I can really do is reduce the amplitude of oscillation.
2012
Mathematical Methods (50) Chinese SL (45~52)

2013
English Language (50) Chemistry (50) Specialist Mathematics (49~54.9) Physics (49) UMEP Physics (96%) ATAR 99.95

2014-2016: University of Melbourne, Bachelor of Science, Diploma in Mathematical Sciences (Applied Maths)

2017-2018: Master of Science (Applied Mathematics)

2019-2024: PhD, MIT (Applied Mathematics)

Yeah, my Specialist Exam 1s have varied from as low as 19/40 to 40/40. It's not a nice feeling, actually. :S

0_0 yikes!! Funny, but ehhhhh.....ok.  :o

Chances are that the kids who take that page seriously are capable of obtaining such an atar....
If you don't know the answer to a question, chances are it has something to do with changing the surface area to volume ratio or resonance.

Possibly, all I know is that it's a parody of https://www.facebook.com/VCEadvice (essentially an advertising page for Horizen - a tutoring company)

You're allowed digital watches, provided that "watches that are capable of storing, receiving or transmitting information or electronic signals are not permitted in an examination room under normal written examination conditions."

They're really not going to check for that though, unless you start fiddling with the buttons on the watch. If you're concerned about your watch just ask the VCE Coordinator or whoever is in charge of doing all the administrative stuff for exams at your school, show them your watch and ask if it's okay. If they let your watch into the GAT, they'll probably be fine with it for all other exams too.
