I did American for Section A and French for Section B.
I thought overall it was ok, but the first question for American threw me a bit, and with the essay topic for French, it was hard to know which way to go....
Other than that, I thought it was pretty good...

Wasn't too bad, I guess. I did fulfil my teacher's promise for using "orgy" somewhere in the exam.

Somewhat sad however, I thoroughly enjoyed the French/Russian Revolution. I think I might go and read some of the historian's books. Help the people next year.
I actually have no idea what I'm saying or talking about.

Yay :)

France section A was excelleeeent. I thought we might get a visual/extract on something later in the AOS 2 timeline since they've never gone past the Thermidorian reaction. *Win*.
I screwed up question c for Russia Section B though. I COULDN'T REMEMBER ANYTHING ABOUT THE PROVISIONAL GOVERNMENT'S DECREES HERPPPPDERP. I talked about Kerensky' June offensive though and how they continued the war. Then I smashed out the essay, wooh.

Oh, likewise. I didn't remember much about the Provisional Government. I used 'orgy' somewhere in Section A France. Something like: "...an orgy of violence".
Also conceive, impregnate, give birth. Hehehe.

Yeah, that question threw me off too, but I managed in the end. What did you write about? I talked about Thomas Paine's Common sense, Stamp Act Congress and the resolves sent to King George the III challenging the parliament's authority to make laws, whilst asserting that this right was to be maintained by the colonies and linked this into ideals of republicanism. I mentioned the desire for self governance/autonomy and republicanism in the same breath, so I talked about most acts which took away this right and threatened the sovereignty of America I.e the suspension of the Massachusetts House of reps, Townshend Acts. This last point wasn't as strong as the former two, but that's all I could think of at the time.

I didn't write as much for one of my body paragraphs for China. I forgot the date of the Great Leap Forward. :(((( but ohwell

I think I earned the title of Captain Bullshit on that one. I tried my best to answer the questions and I didn't really sufficiently respond to four questions so that's definitely a disadvantage for me. Overall, the questions weren't too terrible. At least I managed to answer all the questions.

I did Russia Section A and America Section B.

OH MY GOD THE PROVISIONAL GOVERNMENT QUESTIONS WERE INSANE

I had to look twice... and the document refers to France... damn VCAA tricking us.

I did France Section A and Russia section B. The historiography question for France was so vague, allowed to many ideas. I think I did well. The russia essay question was amazing.

Absolutely bullshitted my way through through Section A China question 1. Knew absolutely nothing about the Warlord era but the other questions looked nice, so hopefully the excrement I wrote won't bring me down too much. Blitzed through Russia, though, my hand was ready to drop off after 5 hours of solid writing. Still hurts now.

I liked the colour but didn't like the lack of a robot.  :(

hahaha a few of my historians quotes had interesting language, which was probably why I remembered them :p

The question about the Provisional Government's aims was a little tricky as well as the picture for France in section a :/ like how are you supposed to identify documents if they are blurry?

Studying for revs made me start enjoying it a lot more and I'm kind of sad that it's over.

I talked about how the period of salutary neglect prior to the F&I War gave the colonists a taste of self-government, and this desire for self-government increased between 63 and 76. Also, I used the Boston Tea Party to show how the colonists were sick of British interference with trade, and finished off by discussing how the formation of a continental congress and continental army showed  how the ideas of republicanism had progressed to the extent that the colonists would set up a rival national government to Britain.

Could the attempts by the Third Estate to reform the system of voting in the Estates-General be described as a failed attempt to reform? Or do you guys think that this question for France (Section A question 1) was referring only to failed attempts by the government to reform?

I did America Section A, and Russia Section B. Questions b and c on the America document were rubbish, my teacher thought the same as well. And I was not expecting a document on the Provisional Government for Russia...

I guess they made up for it by giving us an easy essay topic though! How'd we all go in terms of time management? I didn't have time to write a conclusion for my essay.
