Scaling Report

I don't believe it. Guys if you got a 40 for methods raw, it scales to 47...

Hahahaha.
Gotta love the scaled 50 to 52 for like the first time ever.

Maths Methods was definitely hard this year specifically in terms of the end of year exam...specifically the last page or so... :-[
So you guys who got lower than expected raw scores for methods, at least it scales like a beast this year.

Anyone got lower than expected for methods 3/4 year 11's or year 12's?

I was aiming for 40 before the exams and still managed to land a 37 with 16/22 on the multiple choice and a blank last page on Exam 2 (which was an A). My Exam 1 was a B+. A on SACs too.
Scaled to 43.77

In this case it worked in my favor :)
I'm happy - it's not everyday your worst subject is scaled to a 41!

The A+ cutoff for this subject must have been really low... I got a 45 having lost 12 marks on exam 2 (approximately).

Question because no one else seems to know - I did methods 3/4 this year in year 11. Do I get the scaled score from this year as part of my ATAR next year, or is it scaled by next years scaling? Or is the highest of the two taken.
