Are you guys self-teaching by using the 3/4 textbook to get ahead? Or by another means?  :P

Considering how early it is - I'd self teach. Gives you time to learn how to independently learn (it's a really crucial thing to know how to do) and it can be fun! Without the stress of sacs the subjects you've picked (or hopefully picked based on your interests) should actually be entertaining!
Not saying they're fun like a league game or a social gathering but you could get captivated and your curiosity could lead you to some pretty cool places :)

This. Understand how to independently learn now - you can further develop these skills in Year 12 in preparation for university. Year 12 gives you a good taste of what's to come when you enter uni, but the shift from being spoon fed content to learning (and taking the initiative) yourself can be massive for some.

If you are relying solely on the teacher to give you instructions, you need to get out of this habit ASAP. Take charge and start now :)

Hmm alright thanks man! :) Yeah, our analysis task was sent from hell.

Haha yeah. Our teacher was saying that a "great score" was getting 80% on three questions and 50% on one question which surprised me with how hard it actually was.

Pretty much, I plan on just going through the textbook and using resources like Khan Academy to help.

Not much! Just the usual lazing around - it's actually the perfect remedy to a stressful semester :)

Hi fellow VCER's

I am currently a HSC NSW student and have decided to resort here as I need to boost my post count and the NSW HSC class of 2016 thread is quite inactive

Anyways, do you guys mind me joining in on your conversations  ;D

Cheers

Feel Free. Btw, post counts don't matter here on AN :) Quality->Quantity

So if I post in the victorian threads, it doesn't count for the free essay marking?
