For Graphs and relations 1eii. why is it only integer values of the line....i just highlighted the whole line from x=1000 to 3000 as number of kilos isn't a discrete value?

it is the entire line, not just integers, as it is possible to have for example 1.5 kg of fertilizer

also may be a dumb question but is 39/40 and 60/60 the same chances at 50 as a 40/40 and 59/60?

That's hard to tell, as the question said "at this stage of the hungarian algorithm" it was only up to the column reduction, the next step would have been to draw lines to cover the zeros, as they were not drawn it is not clear which way the marks will be awarded.

So if this was the only mistake I was to have made on both exams, and I was rank 1, what score am I looking at?

For graphs and relations 2b isnt the answer $9100???
I don't see how it is?
3.5(20000) - 1.25(20000) - 36000 = 9000

if  you only lose 1 mark on paper 2 and you get full on paper 1 thats a 50, if you lost 2 from this it might be a 48 or 49 but could still be 50? i dont know the question so im not certain how many you would have lost

its not a dumb question, it is a greater chance if you full mark exam 2 as each mark in exam 2 is more valuable than exam 1, given exam 1 being worth 22% and exam 2 being worth 44% of study score

I thought it was pretty standard, but I was definitely more pressed for time. Probably because it was the actual exam, and not a practise that didn't have any impact, so I was double checking everything.
That might have been why you found it harder?
