What was the answer?
Hahhaa. Nope. Elaborate. When and how did they change it?

Anyone got 12.86 degrees for the banked curve?

I got D for 2. Why is it A?

Thanks!

it said which is plastic over the greatest range of stress values, not strain

the start of the question is said the car was traveling like 4m/s. then in question b is stated the car was traveling 2m/s. I don't think the 4 m/s had any relevance to any of the questions. So if you were not paying close attention, it was an easy mistake.

fuck, they got me

Na, 7.1 using the 2m/s value.

I got that too, and I used the value given in part b so I think we're right.

Just saw an uploaded exam and it asked for the angle to maintain the car travelling at 3ms-1 so the angle was 16.7?

I used the right speed. Did tantheta equals to force centripetal over weight force.
That got me 12.86 degrees. I dont know, should get consequential though.

What are you guys estimating? I've already lost 3 marks...probably going to struggle for a 140...

Did it again 16.7 is right, had 40 minutes of extra time, couldn't pick up on this.

Hey all, first post here

And yeah got 16.7 for that banked curve. Just used the tan theta formula

Dont worry, losing 10 marks gets you a mid A plus. Plus you definitely get consequential marks for the calculation questions.

Do you guys think a 40 is achievable with like 130/150? I know ive definitely lost 10 marks

Hey buddy, and I did that as well. So far all my mistakes have been dumb...

Did it again 16.7 is right, had 40 minutes of extra time, couldn't pick up on this.

I finished with like 10 minutes to go...what did you get on the d-drop question? Also the last electronics graph, I couldn't get it very accurately. I got like 45...

Dont worry, losing 10 marks gets you a mid A plus. Plus you definitely get consequential marks for the calculation questions.

Oh...that's nice. I thought the A+ cut off would be super high because it was kind of easy. It didn't have tension questions, or anything that hard.
