You decide that! Think carefully about your trial results and how you can build on them. What were your weaknesses then? And you noticed today that you felt like your approach was wrong, so think about your approach for tomorrow (based on how you performed in trials, largely) and think about the best possible way for you to approach it! :)

So, because I did better in Module C (14/20) then A (10/20) and B (10/10), should I do (in the exam) Module B and Module A first?

For the creative, i used stimulus 2 - "discovery of something new can trick us into believing it has the power to change everything". My prepared creative was about a man struggling with science overshadowing religion, but later realising both have benefits and can coexist.

Would this fit the stimulus? The discover mentioned in the stimulus in my creative was the discovery of scientific advancements, while the actual discovery was the mans realisation both have benefits, so yea just slightly worried

Sounds like an interesting creative, and it sounds like you put the two together well! Good job! I wouldn't be concerned.

It's up to you - I felt pretty confident in my Module C so I smashed that out before the end so I knew I could save time to allocate to a more difficult module, which from memory, was Module B. So some people like to do their best performing module first to start it off on a positive note, they feel good, etc. I did it so that I could finish it a few mins early and give myself some extra breathing room for the more challenging modules. Other people will do the hardest one first to put their anxiety at ease and get it out of the way so it's not hanging over them!

Oh darn. I guess im not the only one!

Im trying tonight to memorise all my quotes/techniques/decriptions of quotes for all the three modules. (Im using the palm cards as my main help to memorise them)

In terms of linking statements, what do you mean? Do you think I could do 3 practise essays tonight?

Yep, unfortunately! But I wouldn’t worry about it too much. as Emily said, even the paper was challenging for her, hopefully they’ll scale the marks though!

Oh and, not necessarily do 3 whole practise essays tonight but I’d just look at the question and think about how I could emulate and mould my essay into the  question! I did that as a prep for my trials and I think it really went well. Allowed me to point out which key points of my essays are the most and least adaptable to any questions they might throw out (as my links were always too ambiguous) Hopefully it makes sense and it’ll help you too :)

For the creative, I used statement 1 and talked about a man who has a renewed perspective of homeless people and those who live in poverty in Australia (there are things we barely notice... white noise) as a result of working at a soup kitchen. Reckon that'll work?
You might be familiar with this Elyse. It's based on the story where a guy has a renewed perspective of refugees after working at a soup kitchen.

I didn't think the paper was too bad sure the texts were a bit weird, but it was easy to bs it on the spot I reckon. However, the essay question didn't exactly match with my pre-planned essay so adjusting it on the spot was kind of bad. But overall, I think I did okay. Don't be discouraged everyone! Apparently they mark easier for English is what I've heard.

I still dont quite understand. I dont have a prepared essay only an essay from my trials. Im using those quotes/techniques/decriptions of quotes for tomorrows exam. Could you go into more indept about how you would 'think about how to emulate and mould essay into the question'. Im happy to talk in private.

Awesome! Thanks heaps! I think ill go with doing my best one first then work my way down.

Yep that should be good - it's pretty subjective. I wouldn't have called them truncated because they weren't sentences, but I don't think it's a "wrong" answer either.

I would've said enjambment = symbolising the carefree nature of childhood or something

Sounds like that would have worked really well for you! Definitely know your creative, and I think it would've worked well! :)

Don't stress! Written on the original post is just examples of things you could have explored or talked about, everyone adds their own perspective and approach to this!

Just asking again would it be alright to say "use of enjambment throughout the poem" or is an example required?

guys! I could unfortunately only do two body paragraphs as I ran out of time. i did a conclusion though ended up with around like 4 pages of writing - do you think I'll be penalised? I've done this in trials before and I ended up with a 16/20 for mod b anyways so I'm hoping it's not gonna be that bad :(((((
