I only did An+1=1.015An because the question said the rate was 1.5% per month!  :-\

For the 2 mark matrices question, I think I got 30% of the senior students who were expected to do Investigation in term 3 and was expected in Service in term 2? It was similar to a question on 2016 VCAA exam 2.

I got 30% as well?

I think that matrix question in which L was required was wrong, they stated that the product of the matrix L and the given matrix will give the total cost of rolls and sandwiches over the 3 weeks, but instead it gives the total cost of all 3 food items over weeks 2 and 3?

Am I right?

Can someone please confirm for me the answer for the last Business question= $805.65?

Yeah mate thats the way
For the last question in Business it was pretty straight forward
Current value 360000
Find value after 4 years
Put that into ur current
Put your future as 500000
No interest has changed therefore the 800$ or so dollars is your monthly
2016: Biology {35} :/
2017: English, Korean SL, Mathematical Methods, Further Maths, Music Performance

Did anyone struggle to finish?
A lot of people at my school, including me, said that they were unable to.

3 marks if you stuffed up all the significant figure rounding. 2 for the regression equation and one for the question above.

It is 1.015An as there is no need to divide by 1200, due to 1.5 being the monthly interest rate. The follow up question regarding the interest charged was $26.26.

The matrices question was difficult to see through but it wasn't 30%, it was 25%. You had to calculate the amount of students that joined I from S and divide by the total amount of students in I in term 3.

They'd definitely make allowances for this when creating the marking scheme, best case scenarion one lost for the rounding, and consequentlials for the regression and question after or, worst case, two marks lost for rounding + regresssion and a consequential if you show that you used the incorrectly rounded figure
