These are my answers for the exam correct me if i’m wrong thanks:

1)a)i) 72 ii) 25% b)i) 84% ii) 97.5%
c) 105

2)a)place of capture
b) 20
c) 16,36
d)32+(1.5x12)=50, 52 is an outlier
e) Median is greater for grasslands etc

3)a) -46.8+18.9
b)ii) number of moths increases by 1 results in an increase of egg density by 31.3
iii) -412.5
iv) 74.3% variation

4)a) 0.009 b)-14.4+0.009x
c)i) 416
ii)limited reliability bc of extrapolation

5)a) 3375, 71625-3375=68250
b)i) 3375 ii) 4.5%
c) 5.7%

6)a) $203
b) A•=428, An+1=1.015An
c) $454.26

7)a) $1560
b) $805.65

Matrices::

1)a) 159 b)Rolls sold in week 1
c)i) 3.8 ii) [ 0 1 1 ]
2)a) 40% b) 0.4, 0.6, 0.2
c) 750
3)a) 320 b) [250, 250, 300, 200]
c) 30% d) 250

These are incorrect.

97.5% of 1000 is 975

0.009 should've been 0.00854

10^2.85 = 708

asked for interest she paid not how much, so should've subtracted 428 and got $26.26

30% is 25%

3) a) 2 b) number of junior lifeguards and senior lifeguards must be equal to or more than 12
c) 220
d)9.6=10
2.4=2

For Question 4 apparently its wrong so im not so sure, and 3)d) for graphs apparently has to be 9.6 and 2.4 instead of the rounded values of 10 and 2, I rounded them because it made sense as you typically dont see 9.6 lifeguards like??

For the core question about significant figures isn't it 0.00854 or similar as zeros after decimal/ only count once a non zero number is there?

Hey Guys,

For the second question of finance if you divided the 1.5% by 1200, not realising that it was already in the monthly rate, you would drop the mark for part a, but get one mark out of the two for the recurrence relations, for getting the A0 value correct I assume? Would you also qualify for a consequential mark for the last mark of the question if you used your previous (incorrect answer) correctly?

Thanks

These are my answers for the exam correct me if i’m wrong thanks:
3) a) 2 b) number of junior lifeguards and senior lifeguards must be equal to or more than 12
c) 220
d)9.6=10
2.4=2

For Question 4 apparently its wrong so im not so sure, and 3)d) for graphs apparently has to be 9.6 and 2.4 instead of the rounded values of 10 and 2, I rounded them because it made sense as you typically dont see 9.6 lifeguards like??

In Question 3 of the graphs and relations module, 10 and 2 are outside the feasible region. (As one constraint was y>=x/4 and 2 < 10/4) So the next choice was 9 and 3 as the lowest.
