yeah, there was a question where we had to plot the a-VO2 difference of the trained athlete or something like that

hey the thing i found weird was the question showing 2 graphs- use of fats and use of carbohydrates by the trained and the non trained athelte. it asked which athlete was A or B- i said the trained athlete was the one that used the most carbs and the least fats... i was going to say the opposite coz of glycogen sparing but as the race went on the amound of carbohydrates used increased so i assume that meant the trained athlete used the most carbs because his body did not have to divert to fat stores as early as the untrained athlete due to glycogen sparing.... any idea what the right answer was? :)

Very weird exam. Too easy, different to all the other exams in this study design and poorly worded. Anyone interested I will post the multiple choice questions (and possibly more) on my PE dedicated website tomorrow.
Here is what I got for multiple choice:
DDCBA ACAAA BCCAC

Feel free to join my website -  work in progress :)

sorry mate, a trained athlete definitely uses more fats than carbohydrates. due to them having cardiovascular adaptations they can get more oxygen to there muscles to break down their fats. despite that not being worded well i'm sure it's fats for the trained athlete

that would make it A i believe

Likewise, it was definitely A.

Just to let you know, the multiple choice section has been added to my website with potential answers, I am also going to post a few short answer questions as well. :)
