I think the point of the 'Equivalent' part is that the ENTER was equivalent to other national university admission scores. Probably why the can't use it, but it sounds way better.

if we were compared to the rest of the country, and the whole of aus had the same curriculum, i would assume our scores would be similar, perhaps higher...
i would like to think we average higher than a few of the other states (NT, WA & SA.. possibly TAS).
