Ahh that's so scary. Thanks for telling me that, I'll be sure to look at Conics a fair bit.
How come - is it really exciting?
Conics isn't that hard at all, I just had a shocking lecturer (Sanming Zhou).

Mainly you are using maths that allows you to graph say an ellipse that is rotated and shifted to the right and upwards for an example.
For calc 2 try and have Craig Hodgson for your lecturer as he is really good (He is a lecturer for group theory and linear algebra - yay!). Also his qualifications are:
- Bachelor of Science (Honours) (UoM)
- Master of Science (UoM)
- Master of Arts (Princeton)
- PhD (Princeton)
For linear algebra try and get either:
- Deborah King (She sort of acts more like a high school teacher)
- Lawrence Reeves (He knows his stuff but I always thought he acted like an egotist - think of like an older version of Humph on VN)
I'm excited about uni because 75% of this year is maths and physics and there is a lot of cool stuff to learn.
Also to anyone who did real analysis, what is Arun Ram like as a lecturer? From his lecture on 'what is a mathematician?', he sounds like a very dedicated guy.
Also who do you guys believe is the best lecturer for Vector Calculus?
