I don't see why D isn't the most correct answer for question 10. Split brain operations mean the right and left hemispheres can no longer communicate with each other, and so actions which require both "halves" of the body, such as dressing up will be impaired. The answer states that co-ordination of actions will be difficult, and then gives an example, which is the dressing up bit. Imo this should be the most correct answer.

it does say "CO"-ordination....

but raising you right hand and left hand to lift your pants dont need any communications with each other
Thank you. Someone who finally agrees with me. Hopefully we're right.

I don't think anyone has said that you're wrong. I put that aswell but after looking it up on wikipedia (not in the textbook as well) it says memory is lower but coordination is the same.

Yeh I think you were the only person yesterday, since you posted up the wiki info.
But other than that no one just agreed with A. Ah well/

^^ Yeah I don't know how anyone would have known that.

Also, from all my friends that I've asked and most people on the forums (and BoS) have said coordination. I wouldn't be surprised if it were <10% who said memory.

I'm not certain that A was right answer, I just didn't find the other three correct and it was left with A. (elimination)
Who would have known A was the right answer anyway.

^^ Yeah I don't know how anyone would have known that.

Yeh, lol. It also may be the other way around >_<

are we actually permitted to question VCAA's final answer?
Like can we call them up and be like Sooooooo that wasn't on the study guide ?
I would seriously consider doing that. We couldn't have been expected to know that.

The researcher observes Roman sleep-talking during the night. What stage of sleep is Roman likely to be
in when he sleep-talks?

i said NREM 3/4..... and wrote it could also happen in any stage but then i crossed that bit out :(

am i right?? im pretty sure sleep talking is most likely in NREM 4

Jinny1- I did any stage because on past vcaa exam there was a question like this, and the answer was any stage, it's only sleep walking that occurs in a specific stage? I should check it again, just cbf finding the paper ^^

Sleepwalking occurs in both REM and NREM, however it it more likely to occur in stage 3/4 NREM
