Doubt it, most people have no idea how to use it if it were an application for a point or graph (eg. rotate a parabola by 30 degrees or something).

Really! We haven't learnt about it at all (I didn't think it was part of the study design). BTW Nacho i'm surprised you didn't learn about it at MacRob!

Another question, how strict are VCAA with their answering formalities?
By this i mean,
if a question says, 'show that b= 1'
And you write:
because f(0) = 0 (intercept at (0,0)
therefore e^0 - b = 0
=> 1- b = 0
therefore b =1
Would i get the mark?
the solutions have:
'the graph f(x) passes through (0,0)
so 0 - e^0 - b
b = e^0
b = 1 , as required '
