If you want to boost your GPA as high as possible, save GHS until 2nd year because for a science student it's not particularly hard to get an H1 in. Also, if you haven't done bio for a while, you lose the edge that allows you to sit out the first month of lectures.

Do creative writing this year, it's good fun and nobody is expecting miracles of you.

hmm ok I may do this but if I don't.. what would you do creative writing or GHS - I can only do one!!

I can't answer that for you, especially because I did both subjects (and why can't you do GHS next year?).

Yeah Dem. is an idf.

I'd also like to quietly apologise for the spamming that was instigated by my friends last night as they find my participation in this forum absolutely hilarious.

ahah fair enough, thanks anyway.
Well I've already organised my subjects and they may not fit if I add in another elective/breadth as I'm doing the two pysch subjects next year.. heh, so confused with GPA still, so I may just get exemption for my one of my two chem subjects (the one i didnt get HD for) and then do an extra subject like the genetics one in third year to boost up my GPA.. hmmm

Make sure the biomed staff state whether 1 semester of chem is sufficient to qualify...got a feeling you're going to have to credit both of them

Can anyone sum up the lingustics lecture? Didn't have time to go to it.

Also, i'm trying to enroll into the breadth subject "ANCW30011 (670-378) Underworld and Afterlife" and on the handbook, it says there are no prerequisites. However, when i try to enroll, it says:

"This subject has a Pre-requisite of 1 Spk(s) in ANCW%, and Year Level = 2 that has not yet been met."

What does the first prerequisites mean, and can i only take this past year 1?

Does this mean i can't take it? (even though the handbook doesn't mention any of these)

i'll just go to the lectures of both genetics & creative writing and see what i prefer after a few weeks!

It's because the new ISIS computer system is shit and believes that there are prerequisites that don't exist. Read the last couple of pages, the same problem has been experienced by other people along with my post of what you have to do.

e, ACER can't tell you anything, they're not doing the review, the unis are.

Depending on what course you're doing there should be a form you call fill out and submit to try and enroll in that subject and they will process it manually and admit you (within like ten years).

Is that in regards to my question or someone elses?

We've already given the advice "don't do it", it's up to him now
