Correct.
Which lectures are they, I can probs tell you if they're recorded.
You usually email the subject coordinator asking if their lecture is recorded or if they will consider recording it for the benefit of the people with the clash.

Go to one and read the lecture notes for the other.

When it opens tomorrow, you won't be able to load it/the portal/the study plan properly. Don't complain. This is an important part of the Melbourne Model experience. Watching a blank screen load for several minutes builds character. Don't worry about it, you will be able to edit your timetable eventually.

(also post here your tales of glorious victory over the ISIS system and how happy/furious you are with your timetable)

I will start by posting mine:
happy about having tuesday off and all afternoons off. only 3 9am starts is nice as well but there are a couple of breaks there that aren't so great (monday). But I really love this timetable, my best one yet!

stonecold, what about lunch on Mondays?  Also, maths at 9am?  It's going to be an intense day for 12 weeks for you if you decide to rock up for all of Mondays.

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA

@first year biomed kids, the 8am chemistry lecture is the worst thing you will ever do in your life. Enjoy :)

I eat in lectures all the time when I have 4+ consecutive, it's not that bad.

As for timetabling, not all the spaces are available at 10am this morning, the uni opens up more spots in the tutes as the month progresses (to stop people from being screwed over if they're not at a PC). You won't be able to access the lagging crappy timetable program for the first few hours this morning so relax :P

You'll need to be on top of biology because your tute is at the start of the week. I had it there and for the entire semester I just mooched off other people because I had no idea what was going on (also, you didn't do biology in year 12 so you should start all guns blazing)

e, would there be any interest in a biology session for 1st year biomed students who didn't take biology in year 12? I need a project for Feb...

Hey.

On two days I have four lectures in a row due to my breadth subject.
Is that a bit extreme? Has anyone here done this before?

It won't kill you. I find that the 10 minute walk around uni whilst talking to mates is often enough to refresh me for the next lecture. Just buy coffee if you're getting tired.
