My main reason for placing it first is simple: it is NOT Melbourne and does not have the Melbourne model
and the arts faculty looks great

Same. Arts  :smitten:
2007: Psychology
2008: English, Methods, Biology, French, Music Solo        ENTER: 92.65
2009: Bachelor of Arts @ ANU

I like the look of the clubs and societies and Bruce and Burgmann. My college atm has a good ethos, but is a bit quiet.
Still not sure if it's where I *most* want to go, though

What kind of clubs would you be interested in, just out of interest?

We have a Devil's advocate debating competition next week, should be interesting. One of my friends has to argue that CGI kiddie porn should be made freely available to the public. Lolz.

CGI = Computer generated images?

Hm... I think it should be. It is a substitute to the real thing (lowers demand for it, especially if it is cheap), and causes far less harm (if any) than the real thing.

Brendan once posted an article about how pornography is related to lower amounts of sex crimes.

But there are the same underlying principles. Does it really change things? The child factor is really only controversial because real children cannot consent, and hence real child pornography is inherently illegal. But CG children do not need to consent.

What, so they don't have most of that stuff at your college?

Hmmm, I take most of them for granted, and I only do about 5 or 6 on that list...

heh, sorry i that CGI bit completely passed me by, LOL, i was thinking in terms of real porn.
only possible objection i might still have is children seeing the images/videos and hence seeing themselves as sexual objects. but then, i guess you'd say it was up to parents to decide what their children saw.

humphdogg, devil's advocate= a form of trolling, so you should excel in that competition :D

Yeah, but for a pragmatic solution, this could be implemented by only allowing them to be sold under the same restrictions that normal pornography is sold under. Anywho, let's not let this get too off-topic... :)

Heheheheh. Nah, I'm way too lazy for that kind of thing... Debating and all that effort = too much effort (you're supposed to be polite and stuff! That's just silly).

debating is what [i hope] would make me want to put in some effort and fan an interest in topics i might not have otherwise been interested in
like enwiabe -hates Arts but likes debating
