Yup - I applied for Bruce too. Are they just slower than the other colleges to get through applications?

I know Burgmann and Johns start to decide on places fairly early because they are independent and therefore don't have to worry about various quotas (e.g. percentage of girls and boys and percentage of international students - although they still have their own quotas to meet and they like having a balance of students although the Burgmann principal seems to think that an international student is someone with a foreign-sounding name). They also rely on interviews which they usually do way before offers even come out. UniLodge is similar where they tend to just approve as many applications as they can. I think with the ANU-run colleges (so, everywhere else) they are much more concerned with meeting quotas so I assume the process is a lot slower. That's my theory anyway.

I know as a fact that Ursula offers have also started coming out.  Literally none of the Bruce applicants I know (about half a dozen) have heard anything yet though.

In that case, I don't know. I was told that Burgmann had filled all their rooms already (though there will be a significant number of people who reject their offer and so they'll still make more offers over the next few weeks).

In any case, the wait is really difficult, I realise, but it will all be fine.

I made this sig with an online userbar generator. You can google 'userbar generator' and make your own. Alternatively, you can get someone who is pro at image editing and just copy+paste mine into Photoship and change the word 'Philosophy' to 'Law'. Or you can use this one (I'm totally pro with MSPaint):

Hey that's great - how did you get the ANU backdrop? I might try find one that's not animated. Did you make it yourself or is there some university template I'm missing for this thing?
