I'm with Brendan too, his input into the academic debates of humanities is unmatched, surpassing even the regular contributors on the site-that-must-not-be-named. I feel tension sometimes, but that comes with the stress we all have at this time of our lives. Brendan is a willing, constructive contributor to this site, and i always enjoy his perspectiv regardles of whether i agree with it or not.
It is an important skill to learn to enter a spirited debate whilst realising attacks on your posts, are not attacks on your person
P.S. I look foward to Brendan being swamped by uni goers next year to tap into his resources.
Call this brown-nosing (which i know you won't, because you i'm generally oblivious to site politics) if you please, but overall this is a pretty gos site, and most of us could learn to take ourselves a little less seriously
