Watched the first episode, thought it was ok.  Mikuru has grown on me over the last few years, whereas Haruhi herself has gotten more annoying.

Watched it the other day on youtube (thank god some lovely person translated it quickly :D), and I loved it! I've never read the manga, mainly because I prefer the anime (does that make me a bad person?), so I loved the reference to the first chronological episode of the first season :)

I am so glad it's back.

Love the new ED song and clip, would have liked a new dance though.

BTW can someone explain to me the significance of the head shaking by the characters towards the end of the Haruhi 2 opening? Does it mean something different in Japan?

Hey, I happen to like the English dub.  :(  It's not perfect, but neither is the original Japanese.
