Hey, so apparently UROP "Round 2 2014" applications open soon, but they don't close until Aug 19 which seems kinda late to me. Does this mean the applications are for doing UROP this semester or Semester 1 2015? :P

Starting summer 2014/15, through to the end of 2015.
BSc (Hons) 2015 Melbourne

PhD 2016-??? Melbourne

I want to be an architect.

Not sure if they give out spots to students who are applying while they're in 1st year. I think you have to be at least a 2nd year while you're applying.

This is correct. The earliest you can apply is April of your second year, for the July intake.

Just wondering if there is a large/significant difference between a Level 1 essay and a Level 2 or 3 essay? Would they be marked to a much higher standard? Becuase the breadth I'm doing now (Lvl 1) has a 50% essay [kind of worried about it] hahaha.

yep it is, if you go after 5 (i think) you need someone on the inside to open the door, though there are usually people there

I was sitting near the door and it was like, 5C outside so it wasn't very warm, I had to keep my jacket on.
It won my heart though cause because it has hot water. The only other places I know of with hot water are GE which is always stupidly full and laby which is annoying because there aren't any toilets. It also has microwaves, a sandwich press and phone chargers (but no lightening cables)
